About

I have been a Christian for about 28 years.  I am one of those incredibly blessed people who grew up in a Christian home where Christ Centeredness was demonstrated on a daily basis by my Mom.  I have had many struggles, and have been a prodigal enough to be ashamed.  I do find though that God’s love for me is so very deep, and He continues to call me home from each absence with Love and Forgiveness.

The only purpose for this blog is to share my experiences and thoughts with others with the goal of encouraging and bringing others to faith in Christ.  I believe in Christ as the “way, the truth and life” and that no person can get to heaven without a relationship with Him.  I also believe in the authority of Scripture and that the Bible is to be my daily guide to full communion with my Father in Heaven.

  1. It’s so good to find other Christians “out there” who are devoted to His Word! :) I’ll be praying for you through this time, as your sister in Christ. (Isn’t it awesome finding other believers and knowing that you already have a deep spiritual connection as fellow children of God? I love that.) May the Lord bless you through the studying of his Word. -Carrie

  2. Psalm 23 says it all.

    God ever bless you,

    “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” -Psalm 143:8

  4. Psalm 37:3 has become very important in my life. My wife in this last year lived the life of trusting in God and doing good. She and I had always tried to live a good Christian life, but our world took a turn a year ago when she was told she had terminal cancer. God almost seemed to give her a light in her eyes for that last year. She really trusted God and did good for everyone. People were amazed. The doctors did their best but we lost her a few days ago. Months before she got up in church and told the people there how she had no fear and they should not either when it is their time. People saw the light within her as I had done. Through my pain of loosing her, I know how much good she did for so many people. What a way to go home to the Lord. Enjoy heaven my dear.

    • Bob, I am so sorry for your loss, but rejoice with the angels that your wife is present with the Lord!

      Psalm 37:3 is indeed a good promise:
      Trust in the LORD and do good;
      dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

      Thank you for stopping by and commenting and may God bless you in your time of mourning.

  5. Thank you so much for sharing your walk. I just ran across this site today and wanted you to know how blessed I am by it. I, too, am returning to the fold after too many years of wandering around lost and miserable. I have bookmarked this so that I can visit you often! Thank you again for following God’s direction.

    • Pat, thanks so much for your kind words and for stopping by. I pray that God will bless you as you return to Him. I have found that his love is everlasting and his grace is enough. . .peace in Christ!
